Universal Design Consultation

"Universal Design is the designing of houses, products, buildings and exterior space to be used and marketable to all people regardless of their abilities". Universal: applicable or common to all purposes, conditions, and situations.
Disability Advocates promotes and educates the public, builders, architects and vendors on the concepts and benefits of Universal Design through its ZeroStep program.

Disability Advocates and its ZeroStep program is a resource for information about products to make your home more useable, comfortable, accessible and safer. Disability Advocates also has an Interior Designer, who is a universal design, accessibility and Certified Aging in Place specialist. We offer universal design consultation on new and remodeling projects, so that your home can specifically meet your needs and accommodate you for a lifetime.
The goal of Disability Advocates is for all new housing to be built with ZeroStep Guidelines© and Universal Design principles.

"Universal Design means simply designing all products, buildings and exterior space to be used by all people to the greatest extent possible".
